Intercultural lessons and sports challenges with Erasmus+ at Zespół Szkół Ekonomicznych i Ogólnokształcących nr 6 in Łomża
On Tuesday, March 27, Erasmus+ students spent the day at Zespół Szkół Ekonomicznych i Ogólnokształcących nr 6 in Łomża. Representatives of the University of Lomza visited the students to introduce themselves, their universities, countries, and cultures, promoting the idea of international exchange among young people who are just beginning their journey to adulthood and considering their choice of higher education. This third meeting took place within the walls of the Łomża “Ekonomik,” with cultural and linguistic diversity as the main focus.
Start of the summer semester 2025/26: The ERASMUS+ program begins at the University of Lomza
Since the beginning of March, the University of Lomza has been hosting international students participating in mobility under the Erasmus+ program. In total, 34 students from Spain, Italy, Turkey, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, Ivory Coast, and Portugal will study at the university during the summer semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.
A new destination for international internships – cooperation with Finca la Fuente in Gran Canaria
The Erasmus+ program opens up opportunities for students and staff of the University of Lomza that go far beyond the standard framework of mobility. It enables the establishment of cooperation with partners located in various parts of Europe, often in places that are difficult to access, yet highly inspiring from an educational and cultural perspective. Such experiences allow participants to develop competences that cannot be gained by remaining solely within a local environment. One example of such an initiative is the establishment of cooperation with Finca la Fuente, an agritourism center located in Gran Canaria.
Visit of lecturers from the University of Lomza to Matej Bel University
Three lecturers from the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Lomza – Waldziński, Mieszkowski, and Kochanowicz – carried out a teaching mobility (STA) under the Erasmus+ program. The mobility took place at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, one of the key academic centers in the region.

A mobility to Malta under the Erasmus+ program turned out to be much more than just an international mobility for our student. It was an experience of both educational and personal nature, full of new challenges, inspiring encounters, and moments that remain in memory for a long time.
