Students of the University of Lomza Take Part in a Startup Marathon in Latvia
From May 26 to 30, 2025, students from the Faculty of Computer and Technology Sciences at the University of Lomza took part in an intensive startup programme hosted by Ventspils University of Applied Sciences in Latvia. Marcin Busma and Arkadiusz Cwalina (Automation and Robotics), together with Dawid Kucisz and Jakub Jurkiewicz (Computer Science), represented our university as part of the international Blended Intensive Programme (BIP).

Inauguration of the 4th International Staff Week
On May 26, 2025, the Aula named after Prof. Antoni Jakubczak at the University of Lomza was filled with international guests who came to Łomża to participate in the fourth edition of the International Staff Week – a recurring event organized by our university.
Students in Malta: International Experiences within the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme
A group of students from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Lomza Academy participated in a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) in Malta from 5 to 9 May 2025, as part of the Erasmus+ initiative. The programme aimed to deepen their understanding of organisational culture and enhance their ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
English Philology Students Explore Sustainable Tourism at BIP "Green Tourism"
Five students from the English Philology programme at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities—Zofia Święcica, Wiktoria Kaczmarek, Piotr Mioduszewski, Jakub Polewaczyk, and Aleksandra Katarzyna Orent—participated in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) titled “Green Tourism: Heritage, Natural Resources, and Innovations,” held in the picturesque town of Alytus, Lithuania, from 5 to 9 May 2025. The event was hosted by the Alytus Faculty of Kauno kolegija.

Cultural Challenges in Healthcare – Report from the BIP Programme in Alytus
From 5 to 9 May 2025, six physiotherapy students from the University of Lomza participated in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) titled "Overcoming Cultural Issues in Patient Care: Transcultural Nursing Approach," hosted by Kauno kolegija Alytus Faculty in Lithuania. The programme commenced with a series of online sessions, during which participants explored the fundamentals of transcultural nursing and communication strategies in multicultural healthcare environments. The on-site component in Alytus featured daily lectures, practical workshops, simulations, and case studies, enabling students to apply theoretical knowledge in realistic scenarios.
