Between 20–24 April 2026, the University of Lomza had the pleasure of hosting Ayse Demir from Dicle University (Turkey) as part of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching programme. The visit was organized by the Department of Physical Education and aimed at strengthening international cooperation, exchanging teaching and research experience, and promoting the internationalisation of education at our University.

During her stay, the visiting lecturer actively participated in teaching activities and meetings with the academic community of the University of Lomza. The programme included observation and participation in classes related to physical culture and health-promoting activities, which are an important part of the educational process for students of physical education, sport, and physiotherapy.

The mobility created a valuable space for exchanging teaching experiences, reflecting on modern educational methods, and discussing the role of physical activity in education and health promotion. The meetings also had an integrative and intercultural dimension, supporting the development of academic relationships and international cooperation in the field of physical culture sciences.

An important part of the visit was an official meeting with the authorities of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Lomza. The discussions focused on opportunities for further cooperation between the institutions, including student and staff mobility as well as joint initiatives within the Erasmus+ programme.

The visit of Ayse Demir was a valuable opportunity to integrate the academic community, learn about different education systems, and strengthen international academic and teaching relations.
