Slovenia’s Maribor became a European center of innovation for students from the University of Lomza, who participated in prestigious international Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) organized by Academia Higher Education Colleges. Our University was represented by a group of six students—three from the Faculty of Computer Science and Technology and three from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. Under the guidance of international experts and business practitioners, our representatives intensively developed their skills within two cutting-edge thematic tracks: "AI for Creative Media Production – From Creative Concepts to Intelligent Content" and "Artificial Intelligence in Digital Marketing."
The entire trip was designed as an intensive workshop and training process, combining advanced theory with the immediate application of knowledge to market realities. The substantive program was packed with specialized lectures, including sessions on implementing artificial intelligence in marketing and media led by Rastislav Zábojník (UCM), as well as workshops on technical video content generation and prompt management under the supervision of Samir Bajrić from Academia. Students also had the unique opportunity to look behind the scenes of real advertising agencies during panels conducted by Marko Andrijašević and representatives of Memento Productions, and to discover the latest trends in creating engaging user-generated content during UGC video content workshops. An essential part of the training focused on public speaking and effective presentation skills, which were taught during a professional pitching masterclass by Jagoda Đorđević from Peppermint PR.
A key element of the BIP programmes was the daily, multi-hour teamwork in international project groups under the supervision of dedicated mentors. The students' task was to develop comprehensive solutions for real-world case studies provided by industry partners, such as Pipi company, represented by Luka Diel Zadro, and specialists from Academia, including Žan Dapčevič. Acquiring knowledge was seamlessly combined with a rich integration module; participants took part in icebreaking sessions moderated by Barbara Jozičić, afternoon presentations of their home countries, and a guided sightseeing tour of Maribor. The climax of the entire mobility was the official pitching session, where students defended their original projects before a demanding jury of company representatives and mentors, followed by a closing ceremony where they received their well-deserved international certificates.
For now, we are sharing just a few photos from this inspiring journey. A full, detailed report prepared directly by our students will be published on the University's website as soon as they return to Poland and recharge their batteries! Congratulations to our students for their courage, commitment, and for proudly representing the University of Lomza on the international stage!
