Cooperation between the University of Łomża and Lithuania's Kauno Kolegija has spanned many years, including numerous educational and research projects. In the 2023/2024 academic year, 10 of our students, together with faculty from the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Law and Administration, participated in a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) at Kauno Kolegija.
In the 2024/2025 academic year, due to structural changes within Lithuanian higher education, Kauno Kolegija merged with another of the University of Łomża’s partner institutions, Alytaus Kolegija University of Applied Sciences, where our students have frequently engaged in BIP programs in Informatics and Nursing.
The visit of Kauno Kolegija representatives opens new opportunities for continued academic and research collaboration. We believe that our long-standing cooperation across multiple areas will continue to thrive, fostering new joint projects and exchanges of experience.
