The University of Łomża recently had the honor of hosting a delegation from SMK Aukštoji Mokykla, a private higher education institution in Lithuania with campuses in Vilnius, Klaipeda, and Kaunas. The meeting was held as part of ongoing international cooperation efforts, aiming to discuss further collaboration opportunities and academic exchange within the Erasmus+ program.
The visit began with a working meeting involving Erasmus+ coordinators from the fields of cosmetology and nursing, as well as the team from the University of Łomża’s International Relations Department. During this session, representatives presented our university and educational offerings, focusing on programs that align with the areas of expertise of our guests. The event was attended by Dr. Patrycja Mościcka, Ms. Iwona Witkowski-Puchacz, MSc, and Ms. Martyna Turowska.
A significant part of the agenda included showcasing the practical aspects of education at the university. The delegation had the opportunity to tour the Cosmetology Skills Lab, where students refine their practical abilities, and the Medical Simulation Center, which provides nursing students with hands-on experience in simulated medical settings.
This visit marks another step in strengthening the relationship between the University of Łomża and SMK Aukštoji Mokykla. We look forward to the continued development of academic collaboration, including the organization of joint educational and research projects that will benefit both institutions.
