From July 1-5, 2024, as part of the Erasmus+ Programme, staff members from University of Lomza — Jacek Bochenko from the Promotion Section, Zbigniew Dziekoński from the International Relations Department, and Arkadiusz Nieciecki representing the Faculty of Computer Science and Technology — undertook an STT mobility to Ala-Too International University in Kyrgyzstan. During the first part of their visit at the university headquarters, they met with university authorities including Rector Zhyldyzbek Zhakshylykov, Vice-Rector Seitbek Tilekov, International Relations Office Director Edil Konogaliev, as well as deans of various faculties.
Throughout their stay, our representatives had the opportunity to participate in a series of meetings and workshops focusing on international cooperation. They discussed potential areas for further academic and research collaboration, exchanged experiences, and presented opportunities for educational and cultural development for students from both universities.
In addition to their visit to the university, our staff also explored nearby national parks to familiarize themselves with the local natural heritage and culture of Kyrgyzstan.
Our current collaboration, which has been ongoing since 2017, is just the beginning, and we are excited about the opportunity to build even stronger ties between our institutions.
