Grading scale
The ECTS grading scale has been developed to help the home institution interpret the students’ grades awarded at a foreign institution. It provides additional information on achievements of students but does not replace the grades awarded at the institution.
Higher education institutions make their own decisions on how to apply the ECTS grading scheme to their own system. The achievements of the exchange students are ap-proved in accordance with European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
