Since the beginning of March, our University has been welcoming foreign exchange students from the Erasmus+ Programme. A total of 19 students from Spain, Italy, Turkey, Bulgaria, Belgium, Lithuania, and Georgia will be studying at the University of Lomza for the 2023/2024 summer semester.
Between March 5th and 7th, our International Relations Department organized Adaptation Days, during which the incoming students toured the campus and familiarized themselves with the modern scientific and research infrastructure. They also learned about the functioning and structure of our University. The students were also introduced to their Departmental Coordinators, with whom they had the opportunity to discuss their class schedules. All Erasmus+ students reside in our Rubikon Students House, where they share rooms with Polish students, providing a unique opportunity for international networking and practical improvement of English language skills.
Following the tradition of previous years, an Integration Evening, which is an integral part of introducing foreign students to our university, will take place after the start of classes. This time, it will be on March 13th, during which the highlight of the evening will be short presentations prepared by the Program Beneficiaries about themselves, their home universities, and their countries.
Welcome to Lomza! We look forward to a period of exciting cooperation and integration.
