Three lecturers from the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Lomza – Waldziński, Mieszkowski, and Kochanowicz – carried out a teaching mobility (STA) under the Erasmus+ program. The mobility took place at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, one of the key academic centers in the region.
The visit was another stage of the long-standing and fruitful cooperation between the two institutions. During the stay, our lecturers conducted classes for students of the partner university, sharing their knowledge and experience in the field of health sciences. The teaching sessions also created space for the exchange of good practices and for comparing teaching methods used at both institutions. An important element of the visit were discussions on the further development of scientific cooperation. Both sides emphasized the importance of jointly conducted research and expressed their willingness to continue and expand activities in this area, including the preparation of further research projects and publications.
The visit also had an integrative character, enabling the strengthening of relationships between the academic staff of both universities, which provides a solid foundation for further teaching and scientific cooperation. STA-type mobilities are an important element of the internationalization of the University of Lomza, allowing for the development of staff competences, improving the quality of education, and building lasting relationships with international partners.
