On May 26, 2025, the Aula named after Prof. Antoni Jakubczak at the University of Lomza was filled with international guests who came to Łomża to participate in the fourth edition of the International Staff Week – a recurring event organized by our university.
The official inauguration was led by the Rector of the University of Lomza, Dr. habil. Dariusz Surowik, Prof. of UL, who in his speech emphasized the university’s role in the development of the city and region, as well as the crucial importance of international cooperation in a rapidly changing world.
This year’s edition brings together 22 representatives from partner institutions in Japan, Turkey, Albania, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Romania, Lithuania, and Ukraine — including rectors, academics, and staff from international relations offices.
Throughout the week, participants will take part in workshops, integration events, recreational activities, and cultural programs highlighting the richness of Polish culture and nature.
The main goal of the International Staff Week is to exchange experiences and best practices in the field of international cooperation, with a particular focus on the Erasmus+ Programme for the 2021–2027 perspective.
