UCLL in Leuven once again hosted dozens of students from across Europe for several days. Among the participants was a five-member delegation from the University of Łomża, representing the Management program – Andrii Chaika, Eryk Jackowski, Wiktor Wilkowojski, Konrad Nadolny, and Uladzislau Paulouski. It is worth noting that earlier this month, Law students also participated in a Blended Intensive Programme, and this time, the focus was on developing HRM Diversity Management skills through a series of practical sessions.
Students from eleven countries gathered in the heart of European politics to address key challenges in human resource management. The program covered topics such as age and ethnic discrimination, knowledge transfer between generations, and work-life balance. Participants prepared presentations on these issues, which they shared during formal sessions.
The organizers also provided opportunities to gain valuable insights from experts in career counseling, recruitment, employee retention, and salary calculation. Students had the chance to ask questions and engage in discussions about the challenges faced by professionals in these fields.
In addition to academic activities, the program included cultural elements – professional guides led the participants on a one-day tour of Brussels and its surroundings, showcasing the region’s attractions.
The trip also included the participation of Dr. Magdalena Forfa, the Vice Dean, who completed a STA mobility, further enriching the international experience. The student presentations were evaluated, and the winning team was Group 3 (out of 8 teams), which included our student, Konrad Nadolny.
We are confident that the knowledge and skills gained during this program will help our students excel in their future careers and contribute positively to their ongoing studies and academic goals.
