We are pleased to welcome academic staff and colleagues from International Relations Departments to join us at the University of Lomza for our annual International Staff Week. The event is a unique platform to share knowledge, network with international partners, and experience the natural and cultural richness of our region – the heart of the green lungs of Poland.
What’s in store this year?
- Introduction to the University of Lomza – our four faculties, vibrant academic community, and beautiful green campus;
- Exchange of best practices in international collaboration within the Erasmus+ Programme (2021–2027);
- Expert-led lectures, discussions, and interactive sessions on internationalisation, global citizenship, and intercultural dialogue;
- Participation in engaging workshops, including:
- Cultural and Ethnographic hands-on activities,
- Innovations in international teaching,
- Digital mobility tools;
- Tour of Łomża and visit to the North Mazovian Museum;
- A full-day trip to Białowieża National Park, full of nature, history, and local heritage;
- Networking opportunities to build long-term academic cooperation;
- Insights into Polish traditions, language, and local cuisine.
Participation in the 4th International Staff Week is free of charge.
Accommodation and travel costs are not included and must be covered by the participants.
The Staff Week can be included as a mobility within the scope of the Erasmus+ Programme.
We provide:
- training materials,
- welcoming dinner reception,
- lunches,
- coffee breaks,
- sightseeing of Lomza,
- visiting the North Mazovian Museum,
- participating in the trip to Białowieża National Park.
