Two of our Management students traveled to Kauno kolegija in Lithuania to participate in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) "Social Entrepreneurship" from March 3–7, 2025. During this intensive week, they had the opportunity not only to delve into the theoretical foundations of social entrepreneurship but also to acquire practical skills that will undoubtedly contribute to their professional development.
The program began with an official welcome and introduction. From the very beginning, participants engaged in interdisciplinary integration activities and team-building exercises, which allowed them to establish international connections and lay a solid foundation for teamwork. Throughout the week, students participated in numerous meetings, where between lecture sessions, workshops, and consultations, there were plenty of coffee breaks and lunches, encouraging the free exchange of experiences.
During the visit to the company K.I.N.A.S. "Panemunė", our students had the opportunity to see how a local business operates, which provided a valuable element of practical learning. The following days of the program were dedicated to intensive workshops – from sessions on building a positive impact and achieving financial stability, to activities that fostered creativity using AI tools, and intense pitch training that allowed participants to improve their project presentation skills.
Throughout the sessions, there were also numerous consultations and presentations, during which students presented their ideas, and their visual problem analyses were discussed in detail by the instructors. The program culminated in a formal certificate award ceremony.
Equally inspiring were visits to places such as Startup Social Kaunas and Science Island, which expanded the participants' horizons and showed how an innovative approach to social entrepreneurship can contribute to real change in the surrounding environment. Throughout the week, our students showed tremendous engagement, actively participating in discussions and workshops, which allowed them not only to develop their professional skills but also to deepen their understanding of the role of social entrepreneurship in today's world.
