We are pleased to share with you the results and experiences of the recent trip of our university students to our partner institution, Klaipėdos Valstybinė Kolegija, as part of the BIP (Building an Interdisciplinary Team in Healthcare) program. From April 22nd to 26th, 2024, 11 of our ambitious students from the Faculty of Health Sciences participated in this mobility.

The group of travelers included: Igor Pogroszewski, Ewelina Moczulska, Michał Rachuna, Przemysław Żochowski, Radosław Krajewski, Dawid Bagiński, Mateusz Niecikowski, Paweł Biedrzycki, Małgorzata Drobnikowska, Patrycja Juśkiewicz, and Natalia Gacioch. Each of the students enriched the international trip with their knowledge and skills, as well as enthusiasm and eagerness to learn and collaborate. Magdalena Zach, a staff member of the International Relations Department, oversaw the entire trip and participated in the prepared lectures and activities alongside the students.

The main theme of the trip was the building of interdisciplinary teams in healthcare. This unique experience allowed our students to look at healthcare issues from a new perspective and understand the importance of collaboration among different specialties to provide comprehensive and effective patient care.

Our students also had the unique opportunity to learn about the Lithuanian healthcare system and exchange experiences with local students and university staff. It was not only an academic lesson but also a cultural exchange that broadened the intellectual horizons of our students and enriched their personal and professional lives.
