LSUAS gives its students the opportunity of training at 2- degree studies - Bachelor's / Engineering and Master's degree.
Undergraduate degree (BA / Engineering) - these are studies 3-3,5 years (6-7 semesters) after the completion of which the graduate gets Bachelor's / Engineer.

The university offers a 3-year first cycle (BSc and BA degree) and a 2-year second-cycle (Master's degree).We conduct training in both full-time and part-time programme. All directions in full-time programme are free. The organization of the academic year, each student receives before classes begin. At our school you get an attractive profession, not only confirmed by bachelor, engineer, master's degree, but above all by practical skills that each student acquires during student placements and internships. Thanks to the cooperation of the University with local entrepreneurs, students take internships, for which they are paid.
Quality of Education
The improvement of quality of teaching and learning is a core of our education. All PWSIP degree programmes are accredited through the Polish Accreditation Committee. The Polish Accreditation Committee PKA is the only statutory body in Poland responsible for assessment of quality of education provided by higher education institutions. PKA is the first independent institution established to give an expert and objective judgment about the quality of a study programme.
Each Faculty is responsible for the quality assurance of their own degree programmes.
Diploma supplement
Lomza State University of Applied Sciences issues a Diploma Supplement (DS) for its degree programmes. The DS is given automatically and free of charge to every student upon graduation.
The Supplement is the document attached to the diploma which contains information on the nature, level, context, content and status of the studies that were undertaken and successfully completed by the student. In addition, it places the qualification in the context of the structure of the higher education system within which it was issued. The aim of the Diploma Supplement is to develop international “transparency” and recognition of certificates obtain.

Research Overview
Lomza State University of Applied Sciences is an institution of great potential. It offers students and academic staff perfect conditions for development. Well-qualified scientific and academic staff, as well as excellent infrastructure are at the core of the university. Lomza State University of Applied Sciences has modern buildings and professionally-equipped classrooms and laboratories. Because of its practical profile, the university is locally renowned as it has well-organised forms of cooperation with socio-economic institutions. Lomza State University of Applied Sciences has great experience in obtaining and implementing projects, including EU funded ones. Thanks to that, it is at the top of national rankings of public higher professional schools, especially in the category of research potential, innovation and internalization.
One of the main aims of the University’s Development Strategy for 2012-2020 is an increase in the number of scientific staff with practical experience. The university attaches great importance to practical education based on implementation of actions for the benefit of and in cooperation with socioeconomic environment of the region.
Another important aim of the Strategy is the development of scientific research. Lomza State University of Applied Sciences realizes research policy, supports and stimulates research development by: modernizing and making the base and research and development equipment available for the university staff so that they can realize research and implementation works; by giving the scientific staff an opportunity to conduct scientific and implementation research, as well as developmental works; and by promoting employees, especially those involved in scientific and implementation research for the benefit of the university.
There is also Research and International Cooperation Section, which was established to coordinate the process of applying for funding statutory research, research equipment, programmes and research projects. The Section is mainly responsible for organizational and substantive assistance in obtaining funding and with formal settlement of funding for research and development projects, cooperation with project teams in project realization, spreading and collecting information concerning research and development activity of the university, keeping a database of ongoing research topics and issues connected with patent protection and patent information.
