Please bear in mind that the wait time to receive a visa differs depending on an embassy. It is recommended that you apply for a visa well in advance.
General information about visa requirements:
Insurance and health services
Insurance coverage is mandatory. Basic coverage might be provided by the national health insurance of the participant. However, the coverage may not be sufficient, especially in case of specific medical intervention. In that case, a complementary private insurance might be useful. It is the responsibility of the sending institution of the participant to ensure that the participant is aware of health insurance issues.
We strongly advise you to bring the health insurance policy (e.g. European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) or any other insurance with you; please make sure that it covers possible medical expenses in Poland). The insurance policy will allow you to have access to medical care in case of emergency. We also recommend you to have a valid accident insurance for the period of your stay.
In case of emergency call 999 or 112
